Part of Techmace's ambition is to work closely with companies that develop and market products based on "green" or sustainable technology. Many of these companies are pioneers and have limited capabilities in developing effective communication strategies. Because these products are often so different and not mainstream, good communication is essential in the process of making it a success.
Infracomfort, of Thailand based Technology Green Solutions (TGS), is such a fine product. It uses long-wave infrared technology to produce very energy efficient infrared heating plates. After extensive testing of the heating system TGS claims it is about 80% more energy efficient compared to traditional electric heating systems. Depending on local electricity rates, the return on investment can be within several years (in some cases within 1 year!).
It also becomes possible to use green electricity and have a complete CO2 neutral heating solution for your house, at a cost that is not much more, or even less than traditional energy sources such as gas or oil.
At this stage Techmace is developing the website for Infracomfort (Netherlands) and a spin-off product Infrarelax. Later this year Techmace will develop a webshop were all products can be ordered and payed online. Part of the website is an animation that shows how Infracomfort heats up your room.
Techmace is also involved in sales and marketing of Infracomfort and Infrarelax products in the Netherlands and Belgium.
